Our Story
Ours is a story of perseverance and triumph.
It began in 1983, when Kerrie and I rented a small gas station and repair shop in Salida, Colorado. Although we had no idea what the future might hold, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
We faced hurdles big and small. We felt the fatigue of sleepless nights. But we never gave up, and before long we had transformed that first little business venture into a successful enterprise.
Over the next three decades, we extended our reach across Colorado, servicing dozens of stations and businesses. We took over locations from Amoco Distributors, Gianneto Oil, Fairplay Sinclair, Johnson Village Shell, Salida Shell, and In N' Out in Canon City (four of which we still own and operate).
We bought trucks. We built a warehouse and a bulk plant. And so much more.
Along the way, we raised two wonderful children and contributed to our beloved community in a myriad of ways. We are beyond grateful for everything we have, especially our customers.
